Character Information

A superficially charming man with secrets from post-apocalyptic dark fantasy Belle Époque France (yes, really). Cursed with unwanted immortality, Verso has spent the last 67 years living on the monster-infested Continent across the sea from the city of Lumière, assisting annual Expeditions to defeat an entity known as the Paintress in the hopes of curing his immortality (among other things).

Appearance

Looks to be a rough 35, give or take a few years. Scruffy, but takes care of his appearance in a 'roguishly tousled' sort of way. Demeanor is emotionally guarded and vaguely sketchy, but friendly and capable of warmth. Dryly humorous, flirtatious, and suicidally depressed. Sounds like Ben Starr, with an inexplicably fantasy British accent while speaking Franglais.

Skills & Abilities

Wilderness survivalism. Two-handed combat with a sword and dagger that he can summon and dismiss at will. Some minor combat magic. Artistry of all kinds: poetry, singing, painting, and especially music; he's played the piano for about a century. He's also immortal and can regenerate from any injury!
